Silvino Dulnuan is a contemporary visual artist and tattoo practitioner based in Baguio City, Philippines. He started his career as a full time visual artist in 2015 after finishing Fine Arts at the University of the Philippines Baguio. He participated in many local art events in the Philippines.
Many of his works are prints, paintings and large scale mural paintings like the "Pamana Mural" and "Wall of Heroes Mural' in the city of Baguio. He also had his first solo art exhibit “Tawid” in 2022. Silvino belongs to the Indigenous Peoples (IPs) of Ifugao. His desire to continue in keeping alight the fire of his peoples' indigenous knowledge and culture, and his profound care for the environment not only propelled him to join several initiatives and organizations, but also inspired him to pursue these themes in his art practice.Silvino's works displays his role as a cultural bearer and an environmental advocate by actively looking back to his roots.His works show that perhaps, the brilliant and dignified futures we dream of for both humans and non-humans already exist. By revisiting and anchoring himself to the ancient wisdom of his people, he opens himself up to inherit a future from a deep past through the act of crossing times.
